THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

  • How long does it take to ship a product?
    Processing and handling of orders can take 1-4 working days, before the order is shipped. After processing and handling of an order a tracking number will be issued to you, where you can track your order and when it is likely to arrive to you. Thereafter shipping can take 1-3 working days in South Africa and, 3-15 days Internationally.
  • What shipping methods do you use?
    We use couriers (domestic & international) and local delivery Local delivery 1-4 days Domestic delivery 1-5 days International 5-16 days
  • What if my shipment is damaged during shipment?
    Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage post delivery, keep all packing contents and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
  • Do you ship internationally (outside of South Africa)?
    We ship all over the world however there are some exclusions. Rates calculated at checkout.
  • What online payments are accepted?
    We accept PayPal and Yoco payments.
  • How do I exchange an item
    If your item had all tags and labels attached, remains unworn, unwashed, unsoiled and is within our 7 days returns period please ship it back to us. Once we receive your return, we will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received it. If no exception with your return is faced, your request will be processed within 5 – 7 working days when we will send you your exchange item(s). As soon as we ship your item(s), you’ll receive an email with the tracking number to follow up your shipment.
  • Can I return items sold during a sale or products that were discounted?
    Any items that were purchased during a sale, cannot be exchanged.
  • How long does it take to get a refund?
    7 to 14 working days
  • Are made to order items refundable?
    Items made to order such as fashion, furniture etc, cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • What are non-returnable products?
    These items cannot be returned for an exchange unless they are defective: Swimwear Cosmetic products Fragrance products Underwear Toiletries This list is not limited to the items listed, includes all items with a disclaimer for being non-refundable. Perishable. Electronic vouchers or of a nature that prevents them from being refunded, like Coupons and Gift Vouchers.
  • How do I return a product?
    Returns should be notified and they should be done within 7 days of receiving the product. No refunds are made, only exchanges, however there are exceptions. Email returns@goodsforhome.africa, with your slip, indicating the reason for the return. It is your responsibility as the customer to pay for returning the product to us. Upon lodging a notice for return an address will be given to you where you can courier or deliver the product to. Once we receive your return, we will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received it. If no exception with your return is faced your request will be processed within 7-10 working days. Refunds for full priced items are issued to your original payment method. Ensure a products packaging and the product itself is intact when returning it, all tags and labels attached where relevant. `the item should not be worn (apparel), unwashed and unsoiled. Make sure to open the package in a manner that will allow re-packaging. The item is not used and is in re-sellable condition. Do not attempt to fix the faulty area as that will result in denial of exchange. Health supplements and health related products cannot be returned, due to health reasons. Make sure items do not fall under the list of items that do not qualify for return due to product type and way the product is meant to be used. There is a limitation to the amount of times you can exchange an item. We don’t refund you for your postage cost back to us.
